Online SEO text is the latest hot trend in copy writing. You may notice many websites that look good but contain vague, verbose and unclear text. This is neither user friendly nor SEO text. Actually, much of this text was written purely for SEO by using nonsensical target keywords and phrases. You can tell if it was written for SEO because it will be highly repetitive. These websites would certainly benefit from an SEO writing makeover because, although SEO text based in this method gets people to the website, it also immediately drives them away. The SEO industry is picking up on this conundrum and paying more attention to clear, concise copy. These days SEO text is still a little repetition happy, but includes clarity and brevity in its arsenal of effective online SEO writing. Now, in addition to achieving high SEO rankings, it attracts human attention, and makes it easier for customers to navigate a website efficiently. They can get to the point, make a decision and move on to the next task.
If you didn't notice, the above paragraph is an ironic example of using the keyword SEO to describe, in part, how SEO works through repetition. While I have repeated SEO many times, it is unlikely that my website will attain a high page rank against the nearly 250 million "SEO" search results on google because there are other aspects of SEO that are not dependent on text. For example, a website's SEO is also improved by the number of other websites that link to it. That is why you will find professional paid link exchanges associated with services that improve a website's SEO page rank. However, this is taking over the poorly written, repetitive SEO text as the new problem complicating the human experience. If you have ever found yourself clicking on an endless cycle of links that just take you to more links and advertising, then you probably understand. It is mind boggling and a waste of time. Not only is this SEO system in danger of imploding, but search engines are working on technology to stop favorable SEO ranking based on professional or paid link exchanges. It is often more effective to build up your SEO naturally by focusing on user friendly text and working directly with other legitimate websites. Remember your customers' needs because they give you business and increase your popularity and page rank through grassroots recommendations and valuable links to your website. Good business! Happy customers.
